Hi Nic... from personal experience. We've replaced OPT for two known brands (admittedly, neither top-of-the-line), a PP KT88 and a PP EL34. Edrel's transformer was obviously better than the original iron the units came with.

I am new to wiredstate and I just want to ask for now if how much is a transormer with an AC input of 220 v and output of 30v - 0 -30v 15amps

Nice option from Edrel to match the transformer taps to your house voltage . . in this case mine was 237v . .
