this SAKURA AV-200T Tube Amp is a solid state power amp with tube buffers.....FTC power rating is bout 25 watts per channel.....
the 2 bigger tubes are tube rectifiers 5Z4 supplying +-6 volts to a type 4558 ic tone controls......
the 2 smaller tubes are russian 6N2 in a cathode follower configuration....

there is more detailed discussion here: http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,102643.690.html

there is a potential "time bomb" in this unit, only 1/2 of each tube section is used for each 6N2, the filaments of both sections are lit up and yet one half of each tube do not connect to anything, imho this is not a good thing.....over at the other forum, one member suffered a busted tube, i recomended that both sections of each tube be utilized by paralleling sections.......yung unit ko pinamigay ko sa bayaw ko, he is using it without the 2 big tubes....

you may also try other tubes like 6dj8, 6bq7, 6bk7 or even 7dj8 since the filament voltage i measured is a bit on the high side....the busted 6N2 tube was replaced with a 6N1p tube and the owner liked it better, you may too..... :)

nagbago ang time delay ng output relay mo....

yung 2 big tubes ginamit na dc power supply, yung 2 small tubes ginamit na cathode followers aka buffers....

malayo pa yung tubes sa speaker mo, me dadaanan pang tone control at solid state power amp....

yes, cathode poisoning is a possibility....the tube sections should be paralleled, the unused section can not be left hanging, it is simply not done with tubes....obviously the chinese designer do not know about this....
