Audioboy,

Thanks for the comment.

The bass trap really help alot in taming the bass since i moved my setup to a dedicated room ( 9Ft X 14Ft ).... or else puro booom , booom booom lang ang maririnig ko :D :D . My next plan is to make the JR diy wall panel for the 1st reflection.

cheers,
jomar

K,

Di lang ako. Maraming mahusay gumawa ng mga DIY turntables dyan ;) :)

Yung bearing ng platter, puedeng DIY. ;) Ang medyo mahirap lang yung tonearm :( I'm not yet that deep into turntables, still a lot to learn :)

I do remember MandyM (TonaL creator) eh may nagawa na ring kamagong tonearm. Bagay ata sila nito

Cheers.

Jen,

Madali lang gumawa niyan ;) Kahit saang sash factory o furniture maker puede, as long as they follow the dimensions.

Nga pala, 'yan yung record weight mo nasa ibabaw ng platter

Sir A,

Di pa tapos R & D ko dyan. Kuwento ko na lang sa yo pag daan ko dyan sa office nyo (that is kung di ka busy  )

Anyway, the mechanical parts are from my Pro-Ject 1Xpression and Pro-Ject Debut TT's. It's a project me and Pican have been discussing for months. However, will be experimenting soon on alternative bearings for the platter, since I'll be experimenting on different platter materials as well. For now, It's the Pro-Ject parts for now as I'm still learning the ropes

I've yet to install the second tonearm. I'm using one of my pro-ject TT's as reference in measuring the distances between the tonearm and the spindle. Pag tama na lahat ng measurements, I'll install the second tonearm.

Oo nga pala, these are solid wood (akli), which are normally used by "antique" furniture makers.

Cheers.

Mga sirs,

Newbie lang po, pero wouldn't it be great if all DIYers could display their works of art in one festival or convention -- not to showcase who has the best equipment -- but to show and prove to the world that the Pinoy can be at par or even be better in crafting magnificent audio systems? :D :D :D

Anyway, if there should be another fair, I'll definitely be there to ogle and salivate at those fine works of art. And probably buy one of them. :D :D :D
